This Summer, Let's Create Something Beautiful Together!
Whether you're a parent looking for a meaningful activity to keep your child engaged, an adult who's always wanted to explore a new artform, or a family that wants to bond over something truly special — this summer, I've got something interesting waiting for you.
I'm so excited to announce my Summer Art Workshop Series, carefully curated for children during their vacation break and adults who want to join in — either alongside the little ones or in dedicated adult-only sessions. These workshops are more than just art classes.
What's in Store This Summer?
Warli Art
Warli art is one of India's oldest and most beloved tribal art forms, originating from the Warli tribe of Maharashtra. Using simple geometric shapes — circles, triangles, and lines — this art style tells vivid stories of nature, community, and everyday life.
Students will learn the traditional symbols used in Warli art, how to compose storytelling scenes on paper or canvas, and how to use a rice paste-inspired white paint technique on dark backgrounds.
Why should you join?
For children: Warli art teaches kids how to express stories visually using the most basic shapes. It builds fine motor skills, encourages imagination, and introduces them to India's rich cultural heritage — making art both fun and educational.
For adults: It's a grounding, meditative practice that reconnects you with simplicity. In a world full of noise, Warli invites you to slow down and tell a story one stroke at a time.
Lippan Art
Lippan art is a traditional wall art form from the Kutch region of Gujarat. It uses a mixture of clay and dung (or air-dry clay in modern workshops) combined with small mirror pieces to create stunning textured wall panels.
Students will work with air-dry clay to craft beautiful raised patterns and embed mirrors to create stunning decorative panels they can take home and display on their walls.
Why should you join?
Stunning results: Every single student walks away with a finished piece that looks professional and display-worthy. You'll create something that adds genuine beauty to your home — handmade by you.
For kids: It builds hand strength, patience, and spatial understanding. Plus, kids absolutely love working with clay!
For adults: A perfect stress-buster. This is the kind of art that silences your mind and lets your hands do the talking.
Mosaic Mirror Art
Mosaic Mirror Art is the beautiful craft of arranging several mirror pieces into intricate patterns on a wooden panel, giving you a symmetrical and beautiful final outcome.
Students will learn how to compose their own design, place the mirrors according to the design, mix and apply grout to the mirrors and lastly, how to tidy up the art piece for a clean finish.
Why should you join?
The beautiful transition you will be experiencing while using broken pieces and mirrors to create something whole and beautiful. It's a brilliant stress-relief activity that sharpens focus while letting you be completely creative. Also, a creative opportunity to spend time with your family/friends/co-workers, whom you can later gift this personalised handmade piece.
Mandalas
The word "Mandala" comes from Sanskrit, meaning "circle." Mandalas are intricate, symmetrical designs that radiate outward from a central point. Found across Hindu, Buddhist, and indigenous art traditions worldwide, mandalas are both a spiritual symbol and a deeply meditative art form.
What will students learn? Students will learn how to construct a mandala from scratch using geometric tools, how to divide circles into equal sections, and how to fill each layer with beautiful, repeating patterns using fine-liner pens and colours.
Why should you join?
The meditative power of mandalas: Drawing mandalas has been scientifically linked to reduced anxiety and stress. It calms the nervous system and anchors the mind in the present moment. No two mandalas look the same- Your mandala is an expression of you, which you can use to decorate your space or gift it to someone.
For kids: Mandalas sharpen concentration, improve pencil control, and build mathematical thinking through geometry — all while being completely enjoyable!
For adults: Think of mandala drawing as a moving meditation. Many adults describe it as the first time they've truly "switched off" in years.
Builds precision: The focus required to create a mandala builds incredible patience and attention to detail — skills that translate to every area of life.
Dot Mandalas
Dot Mandalas are a modern, contemporary take on the traditional mandala — created entirely using dots of acrylic paint applied with tools onto flat stones, canvas, or wood. It is an incredibly intricate artwork that looks very pleasing to the eyes.
Students will learn how to use mandala dotting tools, how to compose their designs, plan circular patterns, use geometrical tools for marking guidelines, mix and layer colours, and create stunning dot mandalas on Wooden panels or canvases to take home.
Why should you join?
Incredibly rewarding for beginners: You don't need any prior art experience. If you can hold a brush/dot art tool and press a dot, you can create a stunning dot mandala. Absolutely beginner friendly!
Children absolutely love it: The repetitive, rhythmic motion of dotting is deeply satisfying and soothing for kids. It builds focus without feeling like "work."
Adults find it addictive: Once you start, you simply cannot stop. It's the perfect flow-state activity. Unique keepsake: Whether on a stone or canvas, your finished piece is truly one-of-a-kind — a tiny universe you created with your own hands. Dot mandalas are strikingly beautiful, bold, and modern — perfect for home décor or gifting.
Landscape Paintings
Landscape painting is the timeless art of capturing the beauty of the natural world — mountains, sunsets, forests, beaches, and skies — on canvas or paper using acrylic paints.
Students will explore fundamental painting techniques including how to capture the main essence from a reference to your canvas, your brush control, colour mixing, depth and perspective, layering, blending skies, painting trees and water, and composing a complete, beautiful landscape from start to finish.
Why should you join?
Pure creative freedom: There are no rules in landscape painting — only possibilities. Every student's painting will be uniquely their own, and that is the beauty of it.
For kids: Landscape painting builds colour theory understanding, encourages imagination, and gives children a powerful creative outlet. It's especially wonderful for kids who love nature and the outdoors.
For adults: Painting is one of the most effective forms of emotional release. Many adults rediscover a part of themselves they thought was "not creative enough" — and leave feeling transformed.
Foundational art skills: The techniques learned in landscape painting form the foundation for all fine art. You'll leave with real, transferable painting skills.
Create your own wall art: Walk away with a finished painting that's ready to hang on your wall — painted by you, with your hands.
Bookmark Making
Bookmark making is a delightful, creative craft where students design and create their own personalized bookmarks using a variety of art techniques — landscape painting, dot art, cartoons, Indian folk art elements or hand-lettering.
Students will learn basic illustration to create a set of beautifully finished bookmarks that are fully functional and completely personal.
Why should you join?
Promotes a love of reading: Pairing art with books is a wonderful way to encourage children to read more. When kids make their own bookmark, they're excited to use it!
Perfect for all ages: From young children to teens, bookmark making is accessible, fun, and produces something immediately useful.
For adults: A relaxed, joyful session that lets you experiment with colour and design without any pressure. Perfect as a standalone workshop or a fun warm-up class.
Heartfelt handmade gifts: Handmade bookmarks make the most thoughtful, personal gifts for teachers, friends, and family.
Quick & satisfying: Students complete multiple bookmarks in one session — the satisfaction of finishing several pieces is incredibly motivating, especially for beginners and young learners.
Dot Mandala Keychains
Dot Mandala Keychains are miniature masterpieces — tiny wooden or acrylic discs transformed into stunning dot mandala art pieces that are then turned into functional, wearable keychains. It's wearable art at its most charming!
Students will apply dot mandala techniques on a small scale, learning how to plan a micro-pattern, use fine tools with precision, seal and finish the piece, and assemble it into a complete, ready-to-use keychain.
Why should you join?
Take your art with you: Unlike a painting on a wall, your keychain goes everywhere with you — your bag, your car, your hands. It's a constant reminder of what you made and what you're capable of.
Kids go absolutely crazy for this: Children love making something they can immediately use and show off to their friends.
For adults: A meditative mini-project that produces a gorgeous, functional keepsake. Also makes a stunning, thoughtful gift.
Perfect gifting idea: Dot mandala keychains are a wonderful handmade gift — unique, beautiful, and made with love.
Complete in one session: Students begin and finish in a single class — the instant gratification of holding your finished art piece is truly special.
